Sources said that Kumari Selja had offered to resign as Congress's Haryana president.
With several Congress leaders shifting parties in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, sources told India Today TV that Congress's Haryana president Kumari Selja had also offered to resign from the post. "Haryana Congress chief Kumari Selja has reportedly offered to resign as state Congress president," they said.
The political development comes at a time when the poaching of senior and youth leaders in these two states has left the Congress high command worried.
In Haryana, the factions led by former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and PCC chief Kumari Selja are toeing different lines. While Bhupinder Singh Hooda chaired the CLP meeting in Delhi, Selja and others met in Chandigarh to discuss the state capital besides other issues.
