Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu's teachers and childhood friend talked about the beauty queen in an exclusive conversation with India Today.

India woke up to wonderful news on Monday morning as Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021 on December 13. The 21-year-old beauty queen brought the crown home after 21 years. She is the third Indian woman to have won the title, after Sushmita Sen (1994) and Lara Dutta (2000). Harnaaz’s friend, family and teachers were all praise for the beauty queen for making the country so, so proud.
