Harbhajan Singh’s addition to the squad for IPL 2021 has strengthened KKR’s spin department: Eoin Morgan

Indian Premier League 2021: Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan has said that Harbhajan Singh has been a valued addition to the squad ahead of the 14th edition of the IPL.

Veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at his base price of Rs 2 crore in the IPL 2021 auction. The off-spinner spent a decade at Mumbai Indians before joining MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for IPL 2018. He contributed to CSK's title-winning journey with 7 wickets in 13 matches in that edition. The 40-year-old played for the 'Yellow Army' in IPL 2019 as well but opted out in the following year due to personal reasons. KKR captain Eoin Morgan has praised the seasoned spinner and said their spin department has strengthened due to Harbhajan Singh’s addition to the squad.
