Happy News After Sankranti: JDS' HD Kumaraswamy On 2024 Seat-Sharing With BJP

The JD(S) joined the BJP-led NDA in September after HD Kumaraswamy met Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda.

JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy on Saturday said he will give "happy news" after Sankranti about seat sharing agreement with the BJP for Lok Sabha polls in Karnataka.

The former chief minister also reiterated that the number of seats the JD(S) contests was not important for him or his party, as the aim is for NDA to win all 28 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

Kumaraswamy, along with JD(S) patriarch H D Deve Gowda, had recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and had held discussions.
