Doha, Qatar: As travel enters its peak season due to the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays and summer break, Hamad International Airport issues an alert to ensure smooth travel amid an influx of travelers.
In a statement, the airport stated that departure peak is expected to begin on Thursday, June 13, and continue through that weekend. Meanwhile, more arrivals are set to begin on the weekend starting June 20.
The airport also affirmed that it has "planned extensively" in order to efficiently manage the busy period.
HIA has listed out a set of advice to help passengers travel with ease during this peak period, including:
Check-In Online: Passengers are encouraged to check in online before arriving at the airport. This allows for a smoother and faster check-in process, reducing wait times at the airport and ensuring a stress-free travel experience.
