Guwahati: Man climbs atop electric tower; Assam Power Minister rushes to rescue

After a man climbed to the top of the high tension power cable tower on Sunday evening to save himself from a group of miscreants, Assam Power Minister rushed to the spot with a team of police and SDRF.

A man climbed atop a high voltage electric tower in Assam to save his life from a group of miscreants on Sunday. Assam Power Minister, Bimal Bora, had rushed to the spot at Deepor Beel near the Pamohi area on the outskirts of Guwahati to rescue the man. According to the reports, the man, identified as Pradip Das, climbed to the top of the high tension power cable tower on Sunday evening after he was chased by a group of youths.
