Guwahati: Body of man found inside a bag in Maligaon area

A dead body tied inside a bag was recovered from the Dabkata Nagar area of the city on Wednesday.
In a shocking incident, a body was found inside a sack in a ditch in the Mitha Aamtol area of Goshala in Maligaon.
As per the report published by Sentinel Assam, on February 16, the incident came to light and the local police are suspecting it to be a case of murder.
When the victim's hand and feet were found in the sack, it was sent to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. The investigation is on.
The body was found inside the sack, which was thrown in the drain in the Dabkata Nagar area in Guwahati.
As per the report by the local news media, police suspect that some miscreants might have killed the person and left the body in the drain.
