Police are suspecting that the head of the house murdered his family members, following which he killed himself.
In a shocking incident, five members of a family, including three children, were found dead at their residence in Aurangabad village of Palwal district on Wednesday. According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), police suspect that the head of the house, Naresh Kumar (36) had poisoned and smothered his wife and children to death, following which he killed himself.
However, the exact reason behind the deaths is yet to be ascertained but police officers suspect that a family feud could be the reason for the drastic step. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated from all angles, they said. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot and a case has been registered under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) on a complaint filed by Kumar's father.
