Gulshan Devaiah is being praised for his role in his latest big screen outing, Badhaai Do. The actor played Guru Narayan, Rajkummar Rao's love interest in the film, directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. The actor took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the overwhelming response he is receiving and also mentioned that he 'got lucky' with the film.
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar’s Badhaai Do released in cinemas on February 11. Sharing a picture of himself from the film, Gulshan Devaiah wrote, "I know I’m good..perhaps very good but I got lucky with #BadhaaiDo I can’t believe the attention I’m getting for it. Its just a 6 min part in a 147 min film. My decision to play Guru was Harshvardhan & the wonderful writing by Suman Adhikary, Akshat Ghildial & Harsh (sic)."
