Israeli aircraft on Tuesday struck Hamas sites in Gaza after incendiary balloons were launched from the Palestinian enclave in the first such attacks since a ceasefire ended 11 days of deadly fighting last month. Gujarati-origin Nitsha Muliyasha, 20, was part of the Israel Defence Forces team (IDF) that resumed airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. According to a report in Ahmedabad Mirror, Nitsha Muliyasha originally hails from Kothadi, a village in Rajkot’s Manavadar taluka. Now settled in Tel Aviv, Nitsha is the first Gujarati girl to be enlisted in the Israel Army, stated the report. Speaking about his daughter, Nitsha’s father Zeevabhai Muliyasha credited the Israeli education system. “The schooling prepares them for a series of tests to gauge their aptitude and skills, thus helping them choose an appropriate course and career,” Zeevabhai was quoted as saying.More Related News
