Gujarat schools to reopen tomorrow, here's all you need to know

Gujarat schools will be reopening from Monday. Here are the details of the decision!
As the Covid-19 cases in the state of Gujarat are on the decline, the state government announced the reopening of schools from February 7, for students from Class 1 to Class 9 on Saturday.
According to a circular issued by the state's education department, government, private and grant-in-aid schools can resume classes in offline mode for Classes 1 to 9 starting Monday in view of the current Covid-19 situation.
However, the circular added that the online teaching facility will continue to be there for students and students will be able to choose from both systems.
The circular further said that the offline classes will be run according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that was issued earlier by the government.
After the Covid-19 infections began to spread quickly in December 2021, offline or in-person education for students of these classes was halted.
In a tweet, Education Minister Jitu Vaghani said the decision was taken after Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and the state's core committee examined the subject amid a drop in new coronavirus infections.
A total of 6,097 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state of Gujarat on Friday, the number being the least since the high of 24,485 recorded on January 20 this year.
