With 890 fresh Covid cases in Gujarat on Monday, the total number of positive cases skyrocketed to 2,79,097. One death was also reported from Surat after which the death count stood at 4,425 in the state. "Surat led with 262 new cases, followed by 209 in Ahmedabad, 97 in Vadodara and 95 in Rajkot.
