Gujarat: Newborn girl found abandoned in bag in Bhabhar

A newborn girl was found abandoned in a bag near the Boriya village of Bhabhar, Gujarat, on Thursday.

A newborn girl was found abandoned in a bag on the roadside near the Boriya village of Bhabhar, Gujarat, on Thursday.

Locals found the baby in a plastic bag after they heard her crying. They immediately informed the police control room.

The baby was taken to a hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.

Police have started an investigation into the matter and efforts are underway to identify her parents.
