Now, she is gearing up for the release of her next web show, Guilty Minds, which will release on Amazon Prime Video on April 22.
Ahead of the show's release, IndiaToday.in exclusively interviewed Shriya Pilgaonkar. In conversation with us, the actress spoke about her web show, the challenges she faced at the beginning of her career, and more.
Being at her candid best, Shriya Pilgaonkar opened up about the challenges she faced in the initial phase of her career. The actress also revealed how things have changed over the years in the industry.
"In every profession, especially ours, things are very uncertain. The challenges will always be there because you will constantly want more things. And when you want more things, there will always be disappointments. So, I feel today I have reached a point where I am being trusted with the shows that I carry on my shoulders. When you do more work, people see you. And when they see you, they like you and that leads to more work. That has been my journey," said Shriya.
The actress further added, "Today, you see people on the covers of magazines even before they have become actors. My journey has not been like that. So, for me, it has been a step-by-step process. And I finally feel like I am seen as an actor. I am getting opportunities that I can carry on my shoulders and I feel people are trusting me. And that is very important to me."
Shriya Pilgaonkar also spoke about her upcoming web show, Guilty Minds. The actress revealed that she had to audition for the series like her co-stars.
"I was very happy when my audition was selected because I immediately felt a very strong connection to this character of Kashaf Quaze. It is very beautifully written. And I loved the script. So, I was very happy to have gotten an opportunity to headline a show and to play a character like this. I personally like legal and courtroom dramas myself. And this is something new for me. Kashaf Quaze is perhaps the most complex and challenging part that I have had to play," stated Shriya.
