In a video that is swiftly going viral on social media, climate activist Greta Thunberg can be seen shaking a leg to the popular 80s song, Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley at a climate concert. The internet is going gaga over her impromptu dance.
By this time, we all know who Greta Thunberg is. But, for the unversed, she is a Swedish climate and environmental activist who is known to challenge world leaders about the effects of climate change. She got known to the world after her searing speech and has never looked back since then. She plays an active part in spreading awareness about the serious consequences of global warming and climate change. In the video, Greta can be seen completing her speech with a quote, “We are no strangers to love”, which is the opening line of the extremely popular song Never Gonna Give You Up by British singer Rick Astley. The crowd erupted in applause and a fellow activist present on stage shouted, “You know the rules, and so do I”, which was actually a continuation of the song.
