Graham, Cuellar suggest new Biden border czar amid surge under Harris' watch: 'Something has to change'
Fox News
Sen. Lindsey Graham and Rep. Henry Cuellar on Friday called on President Biden to appoint former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to run the administration's border response amid continued problems in Cuellar's border district and surging migrant numbers.
"I've been very respectful about the administration. I just said, 'Look, you don't have to listen to me. I want you to listen to the border communities and I want you to listen to the men and women of DHS'," Cuellar said as he described the situation in his district. The problems include, he said, safety concerns in neighborhoods and in schools which will sometimes lead to school lockdowns, parks filled with migrants, overcrowded hospitals, and more.More Related News
