Manchmal braucht man gar kein Fleisch, um einem Gericht eine schön rauchige Schinkennote zu geben. Der Trick bei diesem Rezept ist das spanische Gewürz Pimentón de la Vera, das aus geräucherten Paprika besteht.
Als ich dieses Gericht zum ersten Mal für meine Familie gekocht habe, konnte meine Frau kaum glauben, dass ich nicht mindestens ein ausgekochtes Schwein zwischen den Dinkelkörnern versteckt hatte, so viel Schinkenaroma verströmt es.
