Govt needs money to control Covid-19: Karnataka minister on rising fuel prices

Karnataka minister Umesh Vishwanath Katti said that fuel prices are on the rise because of Covid-19 pandemic.
With petrol and diesel prices crossing the Rs 100 mark in the state, Karnataka minister Umesh Vishwanath Katti said that fuel prices are on the rise because of Covid-19 pandemic.
"To control Covid-19, there are expenses. Fuel prices have gone up as government needs money to control the pandemic. All this will be sorted shortle," the food, civil supplies and consumer affairs and forest minister of Karnataka said.
