State President urges financial support for BC advocates to overcome challenges and excel in legal profession.
Amidst intense competition in the legal profession, advocates from the Backward Classes are facing numerous challenges and struggles due to the lack of strong financial backgrounds and assured income. Newly appointed State President of the Andhra Pradesh State Backward Classes Association’s Legal Cell, Aaguru Umamaheswara Rao, on Monday urged the State government to extend financial support to BC advocates through the BC Welfare Corporation.
Mr. Umamaheswara Rao said: “The financial assistance will assist them to excel in their profession by enabling them to purchase legal books to enhance their knowledge, and essential items such as furniture, and computers to set up an office for practice.“
The government’s financial assistance would instil confidence among the advocates, allowing them to focus on practicing law.
Additionally, he urged the State government to issue health cards and provide pensions for veteran advocates across the State.
