Skyrocketing fuel prices have hit the common man hard. The Opposition keeps cornering the Modi government over rising fuel prices. Here are nine justifications the Centre has trotted out in the last nine months:
Petrol and diesel prices hit a record high on Saturday after rates were hiked by 25 paise and 30 paise a litre respectively. The price of petrol went up to 101.89 a litre in Delhi and to 107.95 per litre in Mumbai.
