Gov. Cuomo claims he ‘did nothing wrong, period,’ says he will not resign

A defiant Gov. Andrew Cuomo dug in his heels Monday and again vowed not to resign — while appearing to take a swipe at state Attorney General Letitia James’ probe into the sex harassment claims against him.

Cuomo, asked about his potential future plans as he battles state and federal probes, told reporters at a press conference, “I did nothing wrong, period, and I am not resigning.” The governor, who has previously refused to step down, even appeared to take a swipe at James’ investigation into whether he sexually harassed a string of former aides.
