GOP senators demand ‘adequate time’ to review border security bill

GOP senators on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee are requesting a full legislative process for the border policy changes in the supplemental package.
Committee members Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., also signed the letter. Jamie Joseph is a writer who covers politics. She leads Fox News Digital coverage of the Senate.
"Any legislation impacting border security has significant consequences for our nation's security, immigration system, and taxpayers," the senators wrote in the letter Wednesday. "It is imperative that Members of this body are afforded the opportunity to thoroughly review and consider any proposed changes."
