Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 5a sometime in August this year. Ahead of the rumoured launch, the Pixel 5a was spotted on the FCC with two model numbers. The listing hints that the upcoming mid-ranger by Google will be launched with two different variants. One could be specific to North America while the other will be available to the rest of the world. The affordable Google device will come with 5G support but may carry the same processor as its predecessor, the Google Pixel 4a. Noted tipster CS Stark had shared the FCC listings on Twitter. The smartphone was spotted with model numbers G1F8F, GR0M2, and G4S1M. One out of the three model numbers listed on FCC will be region-specific and may come with CDMA for the US region, the other two models will come without CDMA support. The listing does not reveal much about the specifications of the smartphone. It is however rumoured to launch the device in August this year. The Google Pixel 4a launched in August 2020 last year so if we go by trends, the launch is a couple of weeks away.More Related News
