Google Meet’s Hand Raise feature is getting a lot of updates. The search giant said that the new update would make it easier for people to notice the raised hand and address the person. Google Meet and several other video conferencing apps have replaced physical meetings due to the ongoing pandemic. Meanwhile, the companies are constantly working on features that would make the experience better and real. Google Meet in its blog stated that the hand raise feature so that it is easier to notice and address raised hands. As per the new updates, Google has added an improved visual icon and animation on the video tile. The people tile of people who have raised hands will be made more visible in the video grid. Google Meet will send an audio notification will be sent to the participants during a video call when a person raises hands for the first time. There will be a clickable notification that will show the number of raised hands and which links to an ordered queue of all participants with raised hands. Interestingly, the participant's hand will be automatically lowered when they are done speaking. The hand icon will disappear from the grid. Admins will not have any special control over this feature as it will be available to all participants.More Related News
