Gold, silver prices today: On Friday, June 24, gold is retailing on the lower side, while silver has recorded a hike on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Check the latest city-wise prices here.
For the second time in a row, gold prices are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, while silver is retailing on the higher side.
Gold futures, maturing on August 5, 2022, stand at Rs 50,549 per 10 grams, recording a marginal dip of Rs 18 or 0.04 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 50,594.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2022, witnessed a hike of Rs 180 or 0.30 per cent and were retailing at Rs 59,513 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 59,504.
The rate for 24-carat of gold was Rs 51,820 per 10 grams for major cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
The rate of gold varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and the state taxes.
