Gold, silver prices today: On Tuesday, June 21, gold is trading on the higher side, while silver recorded a dip on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Check the latest city-wise prices here.
After trading on the higher side the previous day, silver rates edged lower in the Indian market, while yellow metals are trading on the higher side.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures, maturing on August 5, 2022, stand at Rs 50,827 per 10 grams, recording a marginal hike of Rs 4 or 0.01 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 50,735.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2022, witnessed a downfall of Rs 69 or 0.11 per cent and were retailing at Rs 60,962 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 60,744.
The rate of gold in the domestic market varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and the state taxes.
The rates for the 24 carat gold in the country stood at Rs 52,080 per 10 grams today. The price on the previous day was Rs 51,980 per 10 grams. In Lucknow, 24-carat gold is being retailed at Rs 52,260 per 10 grams, which was Rs 52,160 yesterday.
