Gold, Silver prices today: Yellow metal prices jump on MCX; silver witnesses marginal dip| Check latest rates here

Witnessing a hike of Rs 147 or 0.31 per cent, gold prices maturing on August 5 stand at Rs 47,844 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. Meanwhile, silver rates maturing on September 3 stand at Rs 68,789 per kg on the MCX, recording a downfall of Rs 168 or 0.24 per cent. Yesterday, both precious metals were trading on the lower side on the MCX. While gold prices stood at Rs 47,759 per 10 grams, silver rates maturing on September 3 traded at Rs Rs 69,200 per kg, witnessing a downfall of Rs 430 or 0.62 per cent. Gold and silver prices were edging on the higher side for three days in a row before July 8.
