After trading on the higher side for two days in a row, gold and silver prices fell down on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday. Witnessing a dip of Rs 80 or 0.16 per cent, gold futures maturing on August 5 stand at Rs 49,311 per 10 grams. Similarly, the silver futures maturing on July 5 stand at Rs 72,000 per kg, recording a dip of Rs 489 or 0.68 per cent on June 2, 2021. Both precious metals have been trading on the upper side on the MCX for the last two days. While the price of gold futures maturing on June 4, 2021, stood at Rs 49,049 per 10 grams on Tuesday, silver futures maturing on July 5 stood at Rs 72,500 per kg, witnessing a hike of Rs 701 or 0.97 per cent. Yesterday, the gold prices were Rs 49,425 when the market closed. The silver closing rates were Rs 72,248 per kg on Tuesday.More Related News
