Gold and Silver price today: Yellow metal trades low while silver on a rise

Gold futures are down by 0.13% while silver futures hiked by 0.83% on the MCX. Check the latest gold and silver prices, May 18, 2020.
After a marginal gain yesterday, gold is trading low on Tuesday whereas silver prices still remain on the increasing side. With a downfall of 0.13% or Rs 64, the price of gold futures maturing on June 4 stands at Rs 48,419 per 10 gram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Whereas with a gain of 0.83% or Rs 605, the rate of future silver shares maturing on July 5 stands at Rs 73,755 per kg on the MCX.In the spot market, the gold price has gone up by 0.02% to Rs 46,430. Today, the spot gold price was higher than the week’s average of Rs 46012.9 by 0.71%. However, the growth of gold prices in the Indian spot market remained lower than the global growth rate of 0.12 % with the global spot gold price standing at $1867.9. The spot gold prices continued to be on the rise in the global market with the market close value at $1867.9 per Troy ounce. The closing price of gold on the international market remained higher than the average gold price in the last 30 days by 6.87%.More Related News
