The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India has selected 50 Institution Innovation Council (IIC) institutions from across India as ‘Mentor Institution for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’ under the Mentor-Mentee programme 2021-22.
In 2018, the Ministry of Education established Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) programme in collaboration with AICTE for Higher Educational Institutions to systematically foster the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in educational institutions. It also works on designing the ranking systems to recognize the institutions for their unique innovations.
