
Goa govt extends Covid curfew till 21 June, marriages permitted with 50 people cap

Goa recorded 472 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking the caseload to 1,62,048. With 15 patients succumbing during the day, the death toll in the state reached 2,914.
The Goa government on Saturday extended the Covid-induced curfew in the state till June 21, with a few more relaxations. The Government has decided to extend the State Level Curfew till 7AM, 21 June 2021. Shops, including in Panchayat and Municipal markets, may open between 7 am to 3 PM. Marriage function upto 50 persons have been permitted with the permission. 1/2 Chief minister Pramod Sawant said the curfew will remain in force up to 7 am on June 21.
