Glenn Maxwell and Vini Raman looked adorable in traditional outfits for their haldi ceremony.
Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell and Indian-origin Vini Raman got married in a dreamy white wedding on March 18. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony and shared several beautiful snippets from their special day on social media.
Today, March 22, the couple took to Instagram to share an endearing photo from their haldi ceremony. In the picture, Glenn is seen planting a kiss on Vini’s forehead. Dressed in ethnic ensembles, the couple looked absolutely adorable.
“A little glimpse into our intimate Nalangu/Haldi ceremony. Wedding week has begun,” she wrote in the caption as she shared the picture.
Going by the caption of their Instagram post, the couple will have an Indian-style wedding this week.
What has us smitten the most is the couple’s traditional outfits! Glenn Maxwell channelled his inner desi avatar and slipped into an orange-hued bandhgala. He wore it with a pair of golden churidar.
Vini, on the other hand, looked gorgeous in a green saree with an orange border. She styled the six yards with an orange blouse. Apart from adding a dash of contrast to her green saree, her blouse also matched with Glenn’s outfit and doubled up as a coordinating element.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore star Glen Maxwell and Vini Raman dated each other for over two years before getting married. They had announced their engagement on Instagram back in 2020. Vini is a pharmacist based in Melbourne and belongs to a Tamil family.
