The invitation for Glenn Maxwell and Vini Raman's Tamil wedding went viral on social media.
Wedding bells are ringing for Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell as the RCB all rounder is all set to marry his long-time girlfriend of Indian origin Vini Raman. The couple is set to tie the knot on March 27 and a picture of their wedding card has gone viral on the internet. The invitation, completely made in Tamil, has left desi netizens totally impressed.
However, the invitation that went viral, left Maxwell worried about the security of the wedding. In an interaction with cricket.com.au, Maxwell said, "It was not ideal. We've got to get extra security for the wedding now. It was supposed to be a private event and unfortunately the relatives over in India just got a little bit excited and decide to show a few friends. Next minute, it's in pretty much every paper over there and I'm getting it tweeted by pretty much everyone. So that was a shock. It's been a busy couple of days. "
Actress Kasturi Shankar shared a snap of the wedding card on her Twitter profile. “GlennMaxwell marrying Vini Raman. Going by the cute traditional Tamil muhurta patrikai, we'd bet there may likely be a TamBram ceremony... Will there be a white wedding gown too?
Congratulations Glenn and Vini !” Kasturi captioned the post.
