Give him one chance: Fans want Arjun Tendulkar to play as Mumbai Indians share new reel
India Today
Arjun Tendulkar has been teased by the Mumbai Indians several times this season. The left arm fast bowler was seen bowling searing yorkers in the nets earlier.
Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has been in the Mumbai Indians camp for two seasons now. Earlier a net bowler in the Mumbai Indians set-up, Arjun has been seen bowling at great pace several times in the Mumbai nets.
Even in the current edition of the tournament, Mumbai have teased Sachin Tendulkar’s terrific yorkers sparking speculation among the fans about his inclusion in the first XI of a Mumbai side that has been languishing at the bottom of the table.
A left-arm fast bowler, who can tonk it big with bat in hand, Arjun has been seen doing well in the nets. Mumbai Indians once again released a video of Arjun bowling in the nets on Instagram and fans did not waste time to float the idea that he should be given a chance to play in the line-up.
“Yes yes now we have seen enough reels and all now Mumbai play him now,” said one of the fans on the post.
Arjun Tendulkar has been around the Mumbai Indians team for several years, first as net bowler in the Mumbai squad and later as a team member since 2021. While he has not played any games for Mumbai Indians yet, coach Zaheer Khan has been of the opinion that junior Tendulkar has a lot of appetite for learning and has been picking up things rapidly from the coaching staff.
With Mumbai Indians virtually out of the IPL, it could be very possible that the fans might get to see Arjun Tendulkar this season.
