The girl, identified as Swati, consumed poison on Tuesday along with her teenage sister, Priti (17) and mother, Anuradha.
The three reportedly tried to kill themselves after police conducted a raid on their house looking for her brother, Prince, accused of eloping with a woman from Chhaprauli village.
The women consumed poison as they feared that they would be arrested if Prince was not found.
All three were admitted to a hospital where they were undergoing treatment. While Swati died, the other two are said to be critical, as reported by news agency PTI.
On May 3, a resident of Chhaprauli village had lodged a police complaint alleging that a man, Prince, had eloped with his daughter.
Since then, the police have been searching for the couple.
