Giant python found in sugarcane field in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri, forest department comes to the rescue

A giant 16-feet-long python was spotted in a sugarcane field in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. A forest department team rescued the snake and safely released it at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.
A 16-feet-long python was found in a sugarcane field outside Mirchiya village in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. This area falls under Sampurna Nagar police station area. In a field owned by village resident Manjit Singh, farmers were working when they heard a noise from the grass near the borewell. On closer inspection, they were alarmed to find a giant python there.
