Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a visit to wounded Ukrainian soldiers at a hospital and handed out medals to them for their service to the country.
In the midst of strategizing to rebuff the Russian invasion, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is making sure to remain visible and boost the morale of the war-torn country's citizens.
In one such exercise, Zelenskyy paid a visit to wounded Ukrainian soldiers at a hospital and handed out medals to them for their service to the country.
The official Twitter handle of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence on Sunday shared pictures of Zelenskyy exchanging words and clicking selfies with security personnel who were undergoing treatment after sustaining injuries while fighting the Russian forces.

According to Defence of Ukraine, Zelenskyy reportedly told the soldiers, “Guys, get well soon. I believe that the best gift for your discharge would be our common victory.”
