European diplomats have helped broker an agreement to end a political crisis in the South Caucasus country of Georgia, European Council President Charles Michel said on Monday. Georgia has been locked in a political crisis since the Georgian Dream ruling party won a parliamentary election last October in a vote the opposition said was marred by violations. After the vote, opposition politicians refused to assume their seats in the new parliament and staged mass protests to demand snap polls.More Related News
