Gavin Newsom admits coronavirus 'communicating' errors as recall battle looms
Fox News
California Gov. Gavin Newsom this week acknowledged mistakes in communicating with the public over his administration’s shifting coronavirus lockdown orders last year.
Newsom, who has shifted back into campaign mode amid a massive recall effort led by Republicans, made the comments in an interview with The Associated Press on the eve of the one-year anniversary of his first-in-the-nation lockdown order last year. The original stay-at-home order forbade Californians from leaving the house except for work and other essential activities. California is now in the midst of loosening restrictions once again as case numbers have fallen across the state, allowing indoor theaters and theme parks to reopen in certain places for the first time since the pandemic started.More Related News
