Gangubai Kathiawadi box office collection Day 14: Alia Bhatt's film continues to impress

Gangubai Kathiawadi joined the Rs 100 crore club. The Alia Bhatt-starrer released on February 25.

Alia Bhatt and team are exalted as Gangubai Kathaiwadi crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. The film has received raving reviews from fans and critics alike. After the third wave, Gangubai managed to pull the audience to the theatres. Alia celebrated the milestone by eating vegan fries and burgers.

Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi has set the cash registers ringing. The film has been doing well, even two weeks after release. Even though it faced stiff competition from Jhund and The Batman, Alia is going strong.

The box office update was shared by Bhansali Productions' Instagram page. The film has collected Rs 102 crore at the Indian box office.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical drama, based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Ajay Devgn, Parth Samthaan, Seema Pahwa and Shantanu Maheshwari have been roped in to play crucial roles in the film. Jayantilal Gada bankrolled the crime drama.
