Game of Thrones prequel House of Dragon will premiere on HBO Max on August 21. The makers dropped the first look of its characters on social media.
Game of Thrones fans can't keep calm as HBO has dropped the premiere date of the spin-off series, House of the Dragon. The makers also unveiled the first look of the character on the show. The GOT prequel series was announced two years ago. Based on George RR Martin’s Fire and Blood, the series will deal with the history of the Targaryen family.
House of the Dragon teaser was launched in October last year. On March 30, HBO shared the first look of the characters and the premiere date of the GOT prequel. The official Twitter handle of House of the Dragon shared the new poster of the series featuring the premiere date. The caption read, "August 21. #HouseoftheDragon (sic)."

The official Instagram handle of HBO Max shared the first look of the characters on House of the Dragon. "King Viserys Targaryen. Prince Daemon Targaryen. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Alicent Hightower. Otto Hightower. August 21. #HouseoftheDragon (sic)," read the caption.

HBO released a teaser of House of the Dragon on October 21 to announce that the series will drop in 2022. It has been a long wait from fans ever since the show was announced about two years ago, and Covid-19 played spoilsport.
