Gajendra Singh Shekhawat meets Karnataka CM to discuss Mekedatu dam, other pending water projects

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held a meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to discuss the Mekedatu dam project and all other pending drinking water projects.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held a meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday to discuss the Mekedatu dam project on the Cauvery river. This comes a day after the Tamil Nadu government unanimously passed three resolutions urging the Centre not to clear the project pushed by the Karnataka government.
