The prices of petrol and diesel in India were hiked by 80 paise for the second day running on Wednesday.

The prices of petrol and diesel in India were hiked by 80 paise per litre again on Wednesday. Earlier, on Tuesday, the rates saw an 80 paise rise, after a record 137 days of remaining unchanged.

The prices in Delhi, with effect from 6 am on March 23, are:

Petrol: Rs 97.01 per litreDiesel: Rs 88.27 per litre
