Kadapa police arrest four accused in sensational murder case of fruit vendor, solving the city-shaking crime.
The Kadapa police solved the the sensational murder case of a fruit vendor that shook the city last week by arresting the four accused.
The investigation, led by Sub Divisional Police Officer (Kadapa Taluk police) G. Venkateswarlu, apprehended Chappidi Rayappa alias Peddodu, 35, Shaik Ghouse Basha alias Kalia, 26, Seelam Balaswamy, 26, and Sunkara Venkatesu, 24, at Ramarajupalle on Tuesday.
On April 15, fruit vendor Shaik Sadiq Valli was murdered at Built-Up Circle in the city by a gang of four over past rivalry. According to police, Sadiq Valli, had been involved in a previous incident, which led the four to attack him in an act of retaliation. Police also seized two knives, three cellphones and a two-wheeler used by the accused to carry out the attack.
Superintendent of Police E.G. Ashok Kumar presented the four accused before the media. He appreciated Mr. Venkateswarlu and other personnel involved in the investigation.
