Educationist Dr. Jagdish Gandhi was awarded his sixth honorary doctorate by Queen’s University, UK, for his 60+ years of dedicated efforts in creating the world's largest school -- City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow.
In a matter of pride for the country and the city of Lucknow, renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Founder of City Montessori School, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Social Science Honoris Causa by Queen’s University Belfast, UK, by the Chancellor and former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
Former President of India and great scientist, Bharat Ratna, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, and Infosys Founder NR Narayanmurthy have also received this coveted honour from the university in the year 2009 and 2014 respectively. Dr Gandhi is the first Indian educationalist to receive this honour.
