Centenarian HS Doreswamy passed away at his residence on Wednesday after suffering from cardiac arrest. Doreswami had defeated Covid a few weeks back and had returned home.
Eminent Gandhian and freedom fighter HS Doreswamy passed away at his Bengaluru residence on Wednesday due to a massive cardiac arrest. He was 103. The centenarian came back home defeating Covid a few weeks back. Born on April 10, 1918, Harohalli Srinivasaiah Doreswamy, took a plunge into the freedom struggle by taking part in Quit India movement and was jailed for 14 months from 1943 to 1944. The Gandhian had also participated in the Mysuru Chalo movement to compel the Mysuru Maharaja to accede to the Indian state post-independence.More Related News
