Fred Ward passed away on May 8, Fox News Digital can confirm. The actor was known for "Tremors" and "Short Cuts," among many other films.
"I am sad to announce the passing of acclaimed actor Fred Ward, who passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at age 79," representative Ron Hofmann said.
Ward's cause of death has not been released.
