Private equity manager Grant Cardone told concerned Americans to "step aside" and trust in Donald Trump.
Private equity manager Grant Cardone says Americans should stop worrying about a potential recession sparked by President Donald Trump’s tariffs — and scolded Fox News viewers who are genuinely worried about their life savings.
“Let’s keep this real,” Cardone said Monday on “The Ingraham Angle.” “Donald Trump has Plan A, one plan: Make America Great Again. There is no other plan and the short-term traders or the pundits on TV that are watching Wall Street, look guys — this is beyond your pay plan.”
“This is a negotiations at global levels that we’ve never seen before,” he confidently added in his interview with host Laura Ingraham. “He’s transparent, he’s authentic, he knows what he’s doing, and he will make America great again.”
Cardone’s comments arrive mere weeks after Trump announced steep tariffs on all imports to the U.S. that he maintains will restore American manufacturing and economic prosperity. Instead, even as the president walked back some of the increases, his actions have upended markets and sparked fears of a global recession.
The precarious situation has practically shattered consumer confidence in the economy, but Cardone — whose own investors have sued him for misleading them — argued Monday that hardworking Americans should stop complaining about Trump and “step aside.”
