Four students drown in pond in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam

Six students had gone for a swim when the incident took place. While two of them were saved by the locals, bodies of the remaining four were recovered later by swimmers.

In a tragic incident, four out of six students, who had gone for a swim, drowned in a pond in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district.

After hearing the cries for help, passersby rushed to the spot and managed to save two students. While the bodies of four were recovered later by the swimmers.

The deceased have been identified as Chintala Kaushik, Munnangi Shivaji, Maddineni Subrahmanyam and Abburi Hari.
