Four soldiers were injured in a Maoist attack at a security forces camp in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Saturday. The Maoists attacked the camp with Under-Barrel Grenade Launchers and retreated after security forces staged a strong response.
Maoists attacked a security forces camp in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur on Saturday, April 16, and four soldiers were injured in the incident. The rebels attacked the Darbha camp under the Kutru police station limits at around 11 pm on Saturday night.
The Maoists fired at the camp with Under-barrel Grenade Launchers (BGLs) on the camp, which led to four soldiers being injured. After security forces staged a strong retaliation, the attackers retreated and escaped.
Two of the injured jawans were evacuated to the capital, Raipur, for better treatment while two others are being treated at the Bijapur district hospital.
